We, the undersigned, call upon Princeton University to take immediate action and terminate the employment of Seyed Hossein Mousavian. Mousavian’s continued affiliation with Princeton University poses a threat to academic integrity, ethical standards, and the safety of the university community.
Background:
Seyed Hossein Mousavian stands accused of serving the interests of the Iranian regime, a government known as the world’s most prolific state sponsor of terrorism. His actions, both past and present, demonstrate a clear pattern of support for the Iranian regime’s agenda and its hostile foreign policies.
Role in Covering Up Crimes Against Humanity: Mousavian has played a significant role in covering up or facilitating the Islamic Republic’s crimes against humanity. As a former Iran regime official, including serving as Iran’s ambassador to Germany, Mousavian was involved in the regime’s assassinations of Iranian dissidents residing in Europe. He has not only failed to condemn these heinous acts but also actively participated in deflecting blame onto others, such as blaming the murders on “the work of the Americans.”
Unregistered Foreign Agent: There are serious allegations that Mousavian has acted as an unregistered foreign agent of Iran. His close ties to the Iranian regime, including attending the funeral of Major-General Qassem Soleimani, a commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force responsible for the deaths of hundreds of U.S. service members, thousands of Syrians and Iraqis, raise significant concerns about his loyalty and potential influence within Princeton University.
Abuse of Academic Prestige: As the Middle East Security and Nuclear Policy Specialist for the Program on Science and Global Security at Princeton University, Mousavian utilizes his academic prestige to bolster the image of the Iran regime in the West and support its foreign policy objectives. His recent appearance at a U.S. Strategic Command event, where he advocated for rewriting American policy in the Middle East to favor Iran, is particularly alarming and has rightfully drawn sharp criticism.
Call to Action:
Given the serious nature of these allegations and the potential risks associated with Mousavian’s continued presence at Princeton University, we urge the administration to take swift and decisive action. By terminating Mousavian’s employment, Princeton University can uphold its commitment to academic integrity, ethical standards, and the safety of its community.

درخواست اخراج حسین موسویان از دانشگاه پرینستون
ما امضاء کنندگان زیر از دانشگاه پرینستون می خواهیم فورا حسین موسویان را اخراج کنند. همکاری موسویان با دانشگاه پرینستون تهدیدی برای اعتبار دانشگاه پرینستون، استانداردهای اخلاقی و ایمنی جامعه دانشگاهی است.
حسین موسویان متهم به خدمت برای منافع رژیم اسلامی ایران است، دولتی که به عنوان پرکارترین دولت حامی تروریسم در جهان شناخته می شود. اقدامات او، چه در گذشته و چه در حال حاضر، الگوی واضحی از حمایت از پروپاگاندای رژیم ایران و سیاست های خارجی خصمانه آن است.
موسویان نقش بسزایی در پوشش یا تسهیل جنایات جمهوری اسلامی علیه بشریت داشته است. او به عنوان یکی از مقامات سابق رژیم ایران، از جمله سفیر ایران در آلمان، در ترور فعالان سیاسی ایرانی مقیم اروپا توسط رژیم دست داشته است. او نه تنها این اعمال شنیع را محکوم نکرده، بلکه به طور فعال در انحراف اذهان عمومی و سرزنش دیگران، مانند مقصر دانستن “آمریکایی ها” در این قتل ها، مشارکت داشته است.

ادعاهای جدی مبنی بر اینکه موسویان به عنوان یک لابی ثبت نشده رژیم ایران عمل کرده است وجود دارد. روابط نزدیک او با رژیم ایران، از جمله شرکت در مراسم تشییع جنازه قاسم سلیمانی، فرمانده نیروی قدس سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی، مسئول کشته شدن صدها تن از نیروهای آمریکایی، هزاران سوری و عراقی، نگرانی های قابل توجهی را در مورد وفاداری و نفوذ بالقوه موسویان در دانشگاه پرینستون برانگیخته است.
موسویان تحت عنوان متخصص امنیت خاورمیانه و سیاست هسته ای برای برنامه علم و امنیت جهانی در دانشگاه پرینستون، از عنوان علمی خود برای تقویت وجهه رژیم ایران در غرب و حمایت از اهداف سیاست خارجی آن استفاده می کند. حضور اخیر موسویان در یک رویداد فرماندهی استراتژیک ایالات متحده، جایی که او از تلطیف سیاست خارجی آمریکا در خاورمیانه به نفع رژیم ایران دفاع کرد، به ویژه نگران کننده است و به حق انتقادهای تندی را برانگیخته است.
با توجه به ماهیت جدی این اتهامات و خطرات احتمالی مرتبط با ادامه حضور موسویان در دانشگاه پرینستون، ما از این دانشگاه میخواهیم که اقدامی سریع و قاطع انجام دهد. با پایان دادن به کار موسویان، دانشگاه پرینستون میتواند تعهد خود را نسبت به امانتداری دانشگاهی، استانداردهای اخلاقی و ایمنی جامعه حفظ کند.
